Collection: vintage

Our vintage collection contains benches we have acquired from our customers when delivering a new bench. Some of the benches have had broken parts which we have replaced or repaired others have just been cleaned. These vintage benches are part of our bench heritage made by British manufacturers who have long since disappeared. An example is Listers (manufacturer of engines and pumps in Dursley, Gloucestershire) who made park benches from Teak Wood reclaimed from Royal Navy ships which were scrapped at the end of their lives. We have supplies of teak wood which have been kept as part of our operations in the bench business for the last 20 years. We have now found a use for this valuable teak in giving longer like to these beautiful old benches. These benches would be ideal props for theatre, TV or film productions as these benches have that beautiful "patina"
